National Sales Manager
MacGregor recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We have a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with experience within the fenestration sector to join an established specialist business that manufacturers, supplies and installs sash windows across the UK as National Sales Manager.
You will play a key role in developing sales for the company through first class customer account management skills and your new business development expertise.
National Sales Manager role:
- Build strong and trusting relationships with key customers, account managing the relationship effectively
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to win and onboard new customers
- Attend client meetings and deliver presentations, updates and product training sessions.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customer accounts, in line with commercial expectations
- Prepare strategic plans and budgets (weekly, monthly & annual), record visit reports & activities
Skills & Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager within the fenestration sector, with good product technical skills
- The successful candidate will have excellent people, relationship building and communication skills, with a great customer service approach
- Commerciality and excellent negotiation skills
- This is a UK wide role so please be advised that extensive travel and overnight stays will be a regular part of the role, as required
- A target orientated sales drive, self motivated and proactive in approach.
