Business Development Manager

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a manufacturer and supplier of pvcu &  aluminium windows, doors, bifolds and lanterns to trade customers. 

Our client has over 35 years manufacturing experience operating from a 75,000+ square foot manufacturing facility and are performing solidly.

This is a newly created position providing an opportunity to join an established and stable field sales team with the remit to develop relationships and new business sales across the Home Counties and wider South East region. 

Key responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Sales Director you assess the sales and growth opportunities across the region
• Develop and action an effective sales strategy to build relationships, develop opportunities and secure new business sales and achieve targets 
• You will also have some account management of existing customers, developing great relationships, responding to enquiries and developing additional sales where possible

Skills & Experience:

• A successful track record of developing trade sales within the fenestration sector is essential
• Excellent people and communication skills – able to develop rapport and build relationships and effectively present solutions
• Commerciality and negotiation skills 
• The successful candidate will also be self motivated, organised, detailed, and able to work effectively independently 
• A valid driving licence and comfortable with extensive travel for site visits across the region is essential 

The Package:

• A salary to £55k depending on skills and experience + car 
• 5 weeks annual leave plus 8 statutory days
