Service Engineer

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our client, a well established and successful fabricator of windows, doors and conservatories.

A national role but concentrated on the South West / Southern region (Cornwall to Sussex, up to Milton Keynes and across to Oxford, Bistol & South Wales in the main part). You will travel to customer sites to assess reported issues and make repairs to a high standard, ensuring that the issues are rectified quickly and that the customer receives a great service. You’ll liaise with colleagues, order parts as required, record works and report on service updates.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a Service Engineer role within the fenestration sector is essential
• A background in both manufacturing and the fitting of upvc windows, bifolds and composite doors is highly advantageous
• Great communication, people and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated and a solutions approach to issues
• Ability to earn new products and manufacturing processes
• A full UK driving licence, comfortable travelling and some overnight stays

Package:

Salary of £40-46k DOE plus 24 days annual leave plus statutory, increasing with service
