Area Sales Manager

A driven window & door sales professional looking for an opportunity to join a growing and ambitious manufacturer in the fenestration sector?

MacGregor Recruitment are working in partnership with a manufacturer based in West Yorkshire that fabricates and supplies high quality fenestration products to a wide range of trade counters, showrooms and installers. The business is dynamic, investing in machinery, has backing and is growing. 

They have now created a new opportunity for a field based Area Sales Manager to join the business to continue winning and onboarding new customers. 

It is anticipated that the role will typically be field based sales 4 days a week with one day a week working from site alongside the business owners and being involved with sales strategy & working with the business, as well as appointment setting and preparing quotations and sales administration. As the business continues to expand career progression opportunities are anticipated.

The geogaphical location is flexible. 

Skills & Experience:

• Field sales experience working with a window & door manufacturer is essential
• Specific success of selling and supplying products into trade counters, showrooms and trade installers is essential 
• The successful candidate will have strong rapport, communication, relationship building skills and a strong customer focus
• Commercial in approach with good negotiation skills
• Self motivated, resilient and driven to achieve success
• Valid driving licence and comfortable with regular travel across the region 

Package:

£45k basic with an excellent commission / bonus structure that rewards success. Car allowance
