Sales Manager

MacGregor Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for Sales Manager to develop relationships and trade sales across Scotland. 

Our client has been established for 40+ years, are a privately owned manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors to trade. They are operating profitably, have invested over £10m in CapEx projects over recent years and have a diverse customer base that includes installers, distributors (trade counters & showrooms), the new build sector and also hospitals, schools & local authority housing. With new products being launched later this year it is a solid and exciting business to join. 

Sales Manager role:

• Reporting to and working closely with the National Sales Manager this is primarily a field based role
• New business development - you will identify suitable potential customers, build relationships and leverage opportunities to present the products & services and agree trade supply agreements 
• The effective account management of key accounts

Skills & Experience:

• Field sales experience and a track record of sales success within the within the window & door trade sector is essential
• Strong people, communication, relationship building skills - able to open doors, communicate the proposition and win new business
• The successful candidate will be highly dynamic, self-motivated and results-driven
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Full UK driving license
