Branch Manager
MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager / Branch Manager to join a distributor of building products to trade and lead the operations of their 30,000 sq ft unit based in the West Leicestershire area.
Ou client is a multi-site distributor offering trade customers a wide range of building plastics, drainage, roofing materials and ancillaries delivering products across the wider Midlands.
Branch Manager role:
- To lead the day-to-day operations of the trade branch, ensuring customers receive the right products within 24 hours and an excellent service
- Lead and manage a team of 15 working across day and night shifts and processing 70+ deliveries a day
- Managing the goods in/out warehouse operations and transport / fleet, ensuring that they operate optimally
- Overseeing the branch P&L and achieving branch budgets and standards
- Ensuring that the customers receive a great service, and to quickly resolve any issues
Skills & Experience:
- Experience of managing a large trade branch and experience of managing a warehouse/despatch operation is essential
- Specific experience of building plastics products is an advantage, but not essential
- Great people, communication & influencing skills
- The successful candidate will be highly organised with strong attention to detail skills, good leadership skills and customer focused
Package:
- Salary £45k + bonus incentive
- Car allowance of £6,500 p/a
- 5 weeks annual leave plus statutory
