Estimator (Aluminium)

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced Aluminium Estimator within the windows and doors sector based in Essex. This is an office based role and is ideal for someone with strong technical product knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering accurate and high-quality quotations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Estimator role:

• Prepare accurate and timely window and door quotations for commercial and residential customers
• Interpret specifications, tender documents and technical drawings and provide quotations for the relevant products
• Liaise with clients, architects, procurement teams, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate project costing
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing, materials, and product ranges
• Support the sales and production teams with pricing and technical queries

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as an Estimator with aluminium windows & doors is essential
• A strong understanding of aluminium systems and products
• Excellent attention to detail skills
• Proficient in estimating software such as Logikal or similar
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Package:

Salary of £33 – 45k depending on experience 28 days holiday inclusive of statutory, company pension and additional benefits. Working hours are 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday (although 07.00 or 07.30 starts will be considered)
