Business Development Manager (Ali)

Field sales experience for a fenestration manufacturer and looking for a BDM opportunity in the Midlands region?

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced and talented BDM to join a successful and growing aluminium fabricator who produce and supply a wide range of aluminium windows, bifolds, sliding doors, roof lanterns and commercial curtain walling.

The business is an established family owned business that is growing year on year and looking to further develop their presence in the Midlands.  The region will include the wider West Midlands, East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Peterborough areas. 

Business Development Manager role:

• Build relationships and sales opportunities with target potential customers – including larger trade customers, trade centres & showrooms and commercial
• Maintain great and trusting relationships with existing client base
• Generate sales and meet commercial targets – manage the sales cycle, understand customer needs, present products, negotiate and  close sales agreements and provide continuing after sales support
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, analysing trends & results
• Deliver a great customer service, resolving any issues raised effectively and promptly

Skills & Experience:

• Field sales experience and a good track record within the trade window manufacturing and supply sector is essential
• Specific experience of the Aluminium sector is highly desirable 
• Great people and relationship building skills and excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Self motivated, organised, target orientated and commercial in approach
• IT literate including CRMs and Microsoft Office
• The successful candidate must be based 'on patch' and be able to travel across the wider Midlands region 

Package:

The role is offered with an anticipated salary circa £45-50k DOE + company car or allowance + company profit share bonus
