Area Sales Manager (Hardware)
MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South East region and to join a market leading manufacturer and supplier of window & door fixings, façade subframe systems, thermal solutions and cladding fasteners.
Your primary responsibility will be to build relationships with target customers – window fabricators, new build / architects, fenestration and roofline stockists and installers - and to generate new business, meet agreed sales targets and maintain strong and trusting relationships.
Sales Manager role:
- Build & maintain great relationships with existing and potential customers across the South East region
- Generate sales – manage the sales cycle. Understand customer needs, present products and close sales agreements and provide after sales support
- Understand product applications and services in order to effectively present them
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, analysing trends & results, and reporting on performance.
- Deliver a great customer service, resolving any issues raised effectively and promptly
Skills & Experience:
- Fenestration hardware product knowledge & sales experience is essential
- Great people and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Self motivated, organised, target orientated and commercial in approach
- IT literate including CRMs and Microsoft Office
- The successful candidate must be 'on patch' and able to travel across the South East region
Package:
- The role is offered with a basic salary of £45k + company car
- Great bonus schemes of up to 20% of your salary plus an uncapped bonus scheme relating to personal objectives
