Domestic Sales Director

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We are working with a leading independent manufacturing  and supply / installation company based in the East Midlands area, known for their high-quality windows, composite doors, conservatories and warm roofs.

The business is very established, successful and growing. Due to retirement they now have a great opportunity for an accomplished and experienced B2C domestic window sales professional to join them to lead the sales team and performance. Based out of their Derby showroom this is a hands on sales role which also involves extensive sales visits to customers across the East Midlands.  

Domestic Sales Director role:

• Reporting to the Operations Director and business owners this is a hands on domestic sales management role
• You will qualify and develop leads and carry out domestic appointments visiting potential customers in their homes to help them choose the right products for their needs 
• You will also manage the day to day operations and performance of a small field sales team, who book on average 2-3 appointments a day
• Support with the initial measuring and quoting using an online portal, negotiating and securing orders
• Liaise with the surveyor and fitting teams once the order is place 

What You’ll Need:

• A solid and successful track record of B2C window sales experience with residential customers is essential
• Team managment / supervisory experience is highly desirable, with the ability to develop and motivate your team to achieve 
• Excellent communication and rapport building skills, with a natural sales flair
• Good attention to detail, numeracy and commercial acumen
• Comfortable using IT systems and learning new systems
• A valid driving license for traveling to appointments.

The Package:

• An uncapped OTE of circa £80k - the role is offered as a permanent full time position with a highly competittive basic DOE plus commission
