Commercial Operations Assistant

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for a customer centric administrator to join our client, a window and door manufacturing business based in the Alfreton/Huthwaite area, as a Commercial Operations Assistant, where you will help ensure that the company delivers a great service to their trade customers.  

Commercial Operations Assistant role:

• Reporting to the Sales Order Processing Manager the role is to receive and log any Customer issues, data inputting any complaints or issues raised into the CRM system and responding to customers
• Answer and handle incoming calls to the Customer Service queue, providing additional support to the sales order processing (SOP) team
• Respond to glass price requests, providing information and generating quotes as requested
• Liaising with internal departments as required to ensure Customers expectations are met.
• Provide customer service assistance and administrative support for Customers.

Skills & Experience:

• Customer service & administration experience that includes responding to customers via email and telephone and resolving complaints is essential
• Specific experience of customer service or order processing within the window & door sector is an advantage, but not essential
• High attention to detail skills, self motivated, organised and a problem solving approach
• Great people and communication skills, able to respond to customer needs with a courteous and good telephone manner
• Computer Literate and willing to undertake systems and product training
• Must be willing to undertake any training requirements commensurate to the post.

The role is offered as a full time permanent position with a salary of £24k working 35 hours a week 08.30-17.00 Monday to Thursday and 09.00 – 15.00 Fridays
