Area Sales Manager

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We are pleased to be working in conjunction with an established multi-site supplier of windows, doors and building plastics to trade who are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to develop sales across the West Midlands region (Birmingham, Tamworth, Telford, Shrewsbury, Kidderminster and Worcestershire area). 

Area Sales Manager role:

• A field based sales role you will be responsible for delivering sales activities in order to grow the customer base and sales for the trade branches within the West Midlands region 
• Effective account management and relationship management of key customers
• Identifying high potential target customers, building relationships and onboarding new accounts
• Expertly resolving any customer issues that may be escalated
• Producing quotes, updating the CRM systems and reporting activities and results 

Skills & Experience:

• Previous success in a field sales role within the window, door & building plastics sector is essential
• Excellent people, communication & rapport building skills – a highly personable approach
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills - able to identify sales opportunities, present, negotiate and sign up new customers 
• Driven in approach, with the tenacity and drive to ensure that targets are consistently met and surpassed 
• Detailed and organised in approach, able to work on own initiative
• Valid UK driving licence

Package:

• Basic salary anticipated in the region of £38-43k DOE + car 
• 4 weeks annual leave, plus statutory
