Area Sales Manager (South West)

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We have a great opportunity for an accomplished Area Sales Manager to join a successful manufacturer and supplier of high-quality composite doors and fire doors to trade where you will develop sales and strong and long lasting relationships with new and existing customers across the South-West region. 

Area Sales Manager role:

• Reporting to the commercial director and part of an external sales team you will drive sales and margin growth with existing and new customers across the South-West region
• Build strong and trusting customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met
• Identify new potential customers, developing an effective lead generation and prospecting strategy
• Building rapport and gaining opportunities to present the ranges and services, and negotiating and closing commercial agreements with new customers  

Skills & Experience:

• Field sales experience within the fenestration trade supply sector is essential, with a proven experience of working to targets and achieving sales plans
• Excellent people, rapport building and relationship building skills
• A customer centric and professional approach, compassionate to customer needs
• Commercial and skilled at negotiation
• The successful person will be organised and able to work effectively autonomously

The Package:

• Basic salary of £45k-55k DOE plus a bonus scheme & company car
• 25 days annual leave, plus statutory
