Business Development Manager
Proven field sales experience within the trade window & door supply sector and looking for a new opportunity?
MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a successful manufacturer and supplier of high-quality window and door products with a great reputation in the industry, to develop strong relationships with new and existing customers across the South West region.
BDM role:
- Reporting to and working closely with the Sales Director you will develop relationships and sales opportunities with potential new trade customers across the South West region
- Strong account management of existing customers, building relationships and identifying additional sales opportunities
- A collaborative and partnership approach, working with your customers to develop new sales opportunities together
- Supported by an internal sales team you will also self generate and develop leads
Skills & Experience:
- A successful track record of developing trade sales within the trade window sector is essential
- Excellent people and rapport building skills - able to open doors and build trusting relationships
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- The successful person will be able to work effectively autonomously, with good self motivation / work ethic and organisational skills
- The role is a field based sales position where face to face meetings are a significant feature of the role
The Package:
- Basic salary circa £45k-55k plus a bonus scheme of up to £20k a year on top of the basic
- Company car
- 25 days annual leave, plus statutory
