Production Manager

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Line Manager to run and manage the afternoon shift (14.00-22.00 Monday to Fridays) on behalf of an established and successful fabricator and supplier of windows & doors based in north Nottinghamshire. 

Production Line Manager role:

• Reporting to a Department Head you will manage the day to day operations of a window / door production line, managing circa 30-40 operatives 
• Attend daily production meetings and to ensure that the production targets and quality standards are achieved 
• Planning schedules and reporting achievements / outputs and any deviation
• H&S management, ensuring that the team are working safely and in line with SOPs
• Staff training, staff performance reviews and managing any staffing issues

Skills & Experience:

• Previous Production Management experience within the upvc Window / Door fabrication environment is essential 
• Excellent decision-making, problem solving, organisational and attention to detail skills
• Strong leadership, people, communication & motivational skills 
• A commitment to continual improvement and teamworking to achieve shared goals 
• Good IT skills 
• Comfortable working a static late shift of 14.00-22.00 Monday to Friday

Package:

The salary is anticipated circa £35k DOE
