Estimator / Order Processor

MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for an Estimator / SOP on behalf of an established and growing manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors based near the Deeside area. This is an office based role where you will primarily support new build customers by creating estimates/quotations and process orders.

The role:

• Working within a small and friendly team you will produce window, door and conservatory estimates, ensuring all specifications and requirements meet the client’s requirements
• Liaise with house builders and quantity surveyors and working from various architectural documents such as schedules, plans and elevation drawings to identify and agree variations and determine costs
• Processing orders for Windows, Doors, Conservatories and associated products within the new build department

Skills & Experience:

• Window/Door/Conservatory industry experience & a basic knowledge of building regulations
• Experience of Estimating and processing window and door quotes and orders is highly advantageous
• Experience of Evolution and Business Micros software is an advantage
• CAD experience and an understanding of tendering documents, the tendering process and the ability to understand architectural drawings is highly advantageous however full training will be provided.
• The successful candidate will be organised and accurate in approach, be able to problem solve, have good attention to detail, such as identifying potential errors between schedules, plans and elevations
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and people skills

 Package

The basic is anticipated as circa £33-38k depending on experience, working Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
