Estimator

MacGregor Recruitment have an opportunity for an Estimator to join an established and expanding manufacturer and supplier of Aluminium Windows & Doors based in the Preston / Blackburn / Burnley area of Lancashire.

Estimator role:

• An office-based role where you will review customer enquiries with respect to the requested technical specifications (ie glass, design, hardware and compliance to building regulations etc)
• Providing technical support and specification advice as required
• Pricing and quotations for orders and projects
• Following up quotations to maximise opportunities
• Updating CRM systems and monthly reporting of enquires & sales

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience of window & door estimating / order processing is highly desirable – ideally with Aluminium experience 
• Knowledge of the construction market and an understanding of Building Regulations is advantageous
• Technically minded with strong analytical and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• The successful candidate will be proactive, organised, able to work flexibly to meet deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• IT skills confident
