Area Sales Manager
MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join a market leading manufacturer and supplier of window & door fixings, façade subframe systems, thermal solutions and cladding fasteners and to develo accounts an dsales across the Southern region.
Your primary responsibility will be to build relationships with target customers – window fabricators, new build / architects, fenestration and roofline stockists and installers - and to generate new business, meet agreed sales targets and maintain strong and trusting relationships.
Sales Manager role:
- Build & maintain great relationships with existing and potential customers across the South
- Generate sales – manage the sales cycle. Understand customer needs, present products and close sales agreements and provide after sales support
- Understand product applications and services in order to effectively present them
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, analysing trends & results, and reporting on performance.
- Deliver a great customer service, resolving any issues raised effectively and promptly
Skills & Experience:
- Fenestration hardware product knowledge & sales experience is essential
- Great people and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Self motivated, organised, target orientated and commercial in approach
- IT literate including CRMs and Microsoft Office
- The successful candidate must be able to travel across the South east and south west of England
Package:
- The role is offered with a basic salary of £45k + company car
- Great bonus schemes of up to 20% of your salary plus an uncapped bonus scheme relating to personal objectives
