Business Development Manager
MacGregor recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client, an established manufacturer and supplier of upvc windows & doors & conservatories and to develop sales across the Midlands region.
The company:
A very established & profitably ran business with a turnover of £25m and over 200 employees that has been supplying the trade and trade counter businesses for decades, and has a good reputation in the sector. They are experiencing growth, tracking over target so far this year, and are now looking to appoint an additional BDM to the team.
The role:
- The role is to develop relationships and sales opportunities within the wider Midlands region (East Midlands, West Midlands, Gloucester to Oxford area)
- To identify suitable potential new customers and leads, build relationships, present the products and service proposition and to bring onboard new high value customers
- Strong relationship and partnership management with existing customers, identifying and maximising growth opportunities and working collaboratively
- Sales pipeline management, market research and lead generation
- Preparing and delivering competitive commercial quotes and proposals for clients
Skills & experience:
- The successful candidate will have proven B2B field sales management experience within the fenestration sector, familiar with the market & products
- Self motivated & organised, able to generate and develop sales leads and achieve targets
- Excellent people, communication, relationship building and sales skills – to generate and maintain long lasting and trusting relationships
- IT confident – comfortable using CRM and quoting software
- Full driving licence and a willingness to travel across the region
The Package:
A basic in the region of £55-60k depending on skills and experience, bonus scheme and a hybrid company car.
