Assistant Manager - Windows & Plastics

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the UK fenestration sector. We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an successful and expanding multi-branch trade counter business that supply a wide range of windows, doors and plastics to trade. Our client have a great opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join and help run their established trade branch based near Winsford. 

Assistant Manager role:

• Working closely with the Branch Manager you will help build and develop strong relationships with your customers, ensuring that a fantastic customer service is delivered at all times
• As part of a small team this is a hands on role where you will answer enquiries, provide quotes, process orders and payments, and follow up quotes  
• Help with the day to day branch operations including goods in/out, scheduling deliveries/collections and updating customers and swiftly resolve any issues that arise
• Help develop the branch commercially in line with budgets 
• You will also deputise for the Branch Manager, opening / closing, running the branch and cashing up etc

Skills & Experience:

• Previous trade counter based experience within teither the window & door, roofline or building plastics sector is essential   
• Great people skills - the ability to build and develop great customer and colleague relationships
• The successful candidate will be organised, detailed and customer focused
• Commercially driven - able to spot and maximise opportunities to grow the branch
• Driving licence 

Package:

• Basic circa £27-30k DOE + monthly bonus scheme
• Hours are 07.30-16.30 Mon-Thur, 07.30-16.00 Friday - no Saturday working!
