Area Sales Manager

MacGregor Recruitment are pleased to be working in conjunction with an established multi-site supplier of windows, doors and building plastics to trade who are looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop sales fo rtheir trade branches across the West Midlands region. 

Our client has branches across the UK and is in the process of a major expansion programme, as they look to disrupt the sector! This is a great time to join an expanding and ambitious business. 

Area Sales Manager role:

• A field based sales role you will be responsible for delivering sales activities in order to grow the customer base and sales for the trade branches within the wider West Midlands region 
• Effective account management and relationship management of key customers
• Identifying high potential target customers, building relationships and onboarding new accounts
• Expertly resolving any customer issues that may be escalated
• Producing quotes, updating the CRM systems and reporting activities and results 

Skills & Experience:

• Previous success in a field sales role within the window, door & building plastics sector is essential
• Our client is looking for a dynamic self starter individual who enjoys sales and meeting and beating targets - someone who gets a buzz out of opening new custoemr accounts and seeing the branches grow. 
• Excellent people, communication & rapport building skills – a highly personable approach
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills - able to identify sales opportunities, present, negotiate and sign up new customers 
• Detailed and organised in approach, able to work on own initiative
• Valid UK driving licence an dhappy to travel across the region

Package:

• Basic salary is flexible - but potentially anticipated as in the region of £45k DOE + car + bonus scheme 
• 4 weeks annual leave, plus statutory
