Production Manager

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Manager to manage the fabrication of Aluminium windows on behalf of an established and successful business based in Derby. 

Production Manager role:

• To manage the day to day operations of an aluminium window production operation, managing 10-12 fabricators 
• Ensure that the production targets and quality standards are achieved 
• H&S management, ensuring that the team are working safely and in line with SOPs
• Managing the team effectively
• Oversee all aspects including purchasing, planning, quality and through to despatch. 
• Recruitment, training and resolving any issues as they arise 

Skills & Experience:

• Previous Production Management experience within the Window fabrication sector is essential 
• Specific experience of Aluminium windows (Kawneer, Kestrel & Comar) is highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills are essential - able to bring presence and manage and develop the team effectively 
• Excellent people, communication & motivational and organisational skills 
• A commitment to continual improvement and teamworking to achieve shared goals

Package:

• The salary is anticipated circa £45-50k DOE 
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays 
• Working a Day shift of 07.30-16.00 Monday to Friday
